Focusing on Ancient Civilizations, fifth and sixth grade students will learn about Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, and the geography of ancient civilizations through various readings and beautiful visuals, maps and atlases.
Fifth and sixth graders will also spend time learning about the history and geography of Christendom through their readings, maps, atlases, and beautiful visuals.
Math
Sadler-Oxford: Progress in Mathematics
Students continue to focus on place value, number operations number theory, fractions, operations with fractions, and then operations with decimals.
In the second semester, we begin working with expressions and equations, integers, ratios, proportions, and percents.
