Our School Facts

 
  • Holy Spirit School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 Catholic school in Brighton, Michigan, and within the Diocese of Lansing.

  • The classrooms are multi-age classrooms with two grades in each room starting in Grade 1. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten are stand-alone classrooms.

  • Pre-Kindergarten operates 4 half days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option to have extended full days.

  • The Kindergarten class operates 5 full days a week.

  • Grades 1 & 2, and 3 & 4 are self-contained classrooms, each having one teacher.

  • Grades 5 & 6 and 7 & 8 comprise our middle school with 2 shared teachers.

  • Our largest class size is 17 students.

  • The students are equipped with their own Google account for easy communication with their teachers, for home assignments. They use Chromebooks throughout the week through the wireless connection in each classroom.

  • Holy Spirit School has a strong parent involvement and is a community with a very active Parent Association.

  • We opened our new school building in January 2015.

  • Students are in a Christ-centered environment and surrounded by faculty that encourages them to reach their potential by using their God-given talents.
