Mrs. Thornburg
Prior to moving to Brighton and joining Holy Spirit Catholic School, Mrs. Thornburg worked in a variety of roles at Queen of the Miraculous Medal School in Jackson, Michigan, including serving as both Assistant Pre-K Teacher and vacation bible school teacher. Mrs. Thornburg also served in roles as President and Vice President of the Queens School PTO. Beyond the classroom, she has worked with kids of all ages as a swimming instructor, Girl Scout leader, and coach. She believes strongly in the foundation that Catholic education provides and strives to make each child feel special and loved.
A native of northern Michigan, Mrs. Thornburg holds an Associate's Degree from Spokane Community College in Spokane, Washington and has completed additional studies at both Central Michigan University and Jackson College.
She and her husband live in Brighton and are members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Her hobbies include travel, kayaking, reading, sewing, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Thornburg can be reached at mthornburg@holyspiritrcs.org.
