Mrs. Kimberly Pavlock is delighted to serve as principal of Holy Spirit Catholic School. Mrs. Pavlock graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in English and earned her secondary teaching certificate. After teaching English at Ladywood High School for three years, she left the classroom to focus on raising her three children. During those years at home, Mrs. Pavlock earned her Master’s in Written Communication (Teaching of Writing coursework) and served as a volunteer youth minister at St. Patrick Catholic Parish in Brighton.
Prior to becoming principal at Holy Spirit Catholic School, Mrs. Pavlock worked for 12 years at Eastern Michigan University as associate director of the University Writing Center and served as co-director of the Eastern Michigan Writing Project, directing and developing youth and family literacy programs for students, parents, and families. In 2023, Mrs. Pavlock graduated with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. As a trained Cognitive Coach, Mrs. Pavlock researched the experiences of educational leaders who have been trained in and use Cognitive Coaching as part of their leadership practice.
Mrs. Pavlock finds great joy in teaching and learning, and she feels incredibly blessed to be able to serve God in educating, equipping, and encouraging each and every saint in the making at Holy Spirit Catholic School.
