Mrs. Mackmiller
Mrs. Mackmiller and her husband have been members of Holy Spirit Parish for nearly seventeen years. During that time, she taught faith formation for sacrament classes and was a past member and chair of the parish council. Currently, Mrs. Mackmiller serves as a lector and an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Her parish duties also include representing the parish as Procurator-Advocate--assisting divorced Catholics who wish to return to total communion with the Church through a decree of nullity. Patti begins her new role in mid-July and will support Ms. Laura, students, staff, and school families as they enter the 2022-23 school year.
Mrs. Mackmiller earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Michigan; a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from Eastern Michigan University; and enjoyed a career of more than 40 years in higher education and publishing. She brings extensive experience to this position--and a unique understanding of the educational system and the challenges students and families face.
