Mrs. Kayelin Higdon
Mrs. Higdon received her bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Aquinas College in 2019. While she was at Aquinas she had the opportunity to run cross country and track as well as play JV basketball. She received her master’s degree from Oakland University in Teacher Leadership. She genuinely loves helping people. She might get some crazy looks, but her favorite subject to teach is math. Bring on the fractions!
Some of her favorite things to do are go on walks with her daughter and golden retriever, read, and have campfires with friends. She and her husband love camping, golfing and gardening together. Their favorite camping trip so
far has been to Isle Royale National Park!
As a person who has been in a Catholic school her whole life, she explains, “I understand how important it is to instill the Catholic virtues into our children.”
