Mr. Zach Desjarlais
Mr. Desjarlais is a Graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in Music and Minor in Communications in 2019 and also a graduate from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Music Education in 2022. Mr. Desjarlais has experience teaching band, choir and general music and has worked in districts such as Huron Valley Schools, Avondale School District, Plymouth-Canton Community Schools and Currently Brighton Area Schools. Outside of Holy Spirit, Mr. Desjarlais is the percussion director for the Huron Valley Marching Band and Huron Valley Winter Percussion in Huron Valley Schools.
Mr. Desjarlais' primary instrument is percussion and currently stays active in music performance performing with the Detroit Lions Drumline (since 2018) and you can find him performing on Quads at every Detroit Lions home game each season. He is a proud endorsed educational artist for Vater Percussion, Sabian Cymbals and Remo Drumheads.
