Miss Emily Parsons

I genuinely enjoy teaching the children of Holy Spirit Catholic School. My goal is to encourage students to develop a respect for art history and creative processes through discussion, creation and problem solving. We explore “who, what, where, when, and WHY” of a variety of artworks.

I grew up in Brighton and graduated from CMU in 2009 with my Bachelors of Science in Teaching Art Education. My first three years of teaching were at a STEM school in Clarksville, Tennessee. I earned my Masters in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University of Nashville.

Now, I am living in Livingston County once again! I enjoy time with family and friends, Crossfit, and traveling. I also love walking my chocolate lab, Ally.

Thank you to everyone at Holy Spirit School and Church for your support!
