Mrs. Mary Dewan
Coordinator of Youth Ministry
Mrs. Dewan has always enjoyed working with children and has been blessed with a variety of opportunities to help nurture them. After graduating from the University of Michigan, where she was a member of the women’s basketball team, she taught elementary school before starting her family. She has used her gifts in many roles: as a catechist, basketball coach, camp director, substitute teacher, and most importantly as a mother of 7 children, all of whom attended Holy Spirit Catholic School. She is currently leading and developing the middle school and high school Youth Groups at Holy Spirit Parish. It is a great joy for her to be working with the youth of Holy Spirit. She strives to provide opportunities for young people to share faith experiences with their peers that strengthen their personal relationship with Jesus. She sincerely has a blast getting to know and serving the future of the church!
