Health & Safety Guidance 2022-2023
Vaccination
· COVID vaccines are not required.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
· Masks are not required at school or school events at this time.
Hygiene
· Teachers promote with their students proper handwashing and covering of coughs and sneezes.
· High-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.
· The air filtration system is monitored for optimal air exchange.
· Teachers will improve ventilation by opening doors and windows.
Spacing, Movement, and Access
· Social and physical distancing is maintained to help limit the need for quarantining in the event of a positive COVID-19 case in the school.
· Teachers maintain seating charts with assigned student seats for class, lunchtime, and Mass.
· Students and staff may travel between classrooms.
· School visitors may enter the school building. A log of all visitors is maintained in the office.
Screening Students and Staff
· Parents/guardians should monitor their children for symptoms of infectious illness every day.
· Staff members should monitor their health for symptoms of infectious illness every day.
· Staff and students who are sick or displaying symptoms of infectious illness should remain home and seek medical care when necessary.
· Students and staff who become ill at school with signs or symptoms of COVID-19 will be isolated until they go home.
Responding to Positive COVID-19 Cases and Close Contacts
· Parents/guardians and staff will notify the Principal immediately of any possible case of COVID-19.
· All reporting requirements of the Livingston County Health Department are followed.
· The Principal works with the LCHD to establish close contacts and quarantine recommendations.
Gatherings and Extracurricular Activities
· Three feet of distance is maintained between students during indoor dining.
· Liturgical and non-liturgical group gatherings and extracurricular activities are allowed at this time.
