A Task Force was formed at the beginning of last school year's school closure. Task Force membership included an administrator, teachers, school staff and parents. The goal of the Task Force was to make recommendations to school administration for a safe and smooth transition back to school once in-person instruction resumed.
As a result of these recommendations, Holy Spirit Catholic School re-opened on August 24, 2020 with various safety and health measures in place. Holy Spirit Catholic School, along with all schools in the State of Michigan, is currently in Phase 4 of the Michigan Safe Schools Return to School Roadmap. The Diocese of Lansing Phase 4 Return to School Plan, approved by the State of Michigan on behalf of all Catholic Schools in the Diocese, is included on this page.
Holy Spirit Catholic School remains committed to put safety first to keep students and staff safe in the classroom for in-person instruction.
